I already know some program languages, like java & c. However i'll focus myself on python. I started to read this book just to learn something about scripting languages, and then take on of them and start to learn it in the depth.

I just hope to learn something about these languages, during the master security & privacy degree that im going to attend for the next 2 years

I think if you can program or done some programming before you shoudl learn python as when you doing pen test you want be able to script dirty script quickly. and I think python just nice and easy to learn from what I have been told.

I'm learning Python now from the MIT free lecture videos. Might be too basic for you, but the last code I wrote was in Pascal. Python is not hard, should be a cinch someone like you with a background in C.

I'll look for this lectures, when i'll finish my thesis.

However on the MIT website i'd downloaded, some months ago, C programming lectures. They were really good.

There lots free stuff online it just depends what you want to learn one website i like is thenewboston it has tutorials on all sorts java,python,c,php,html5 and loads more.
