as you can expect from my presence here, I want to pursuit a pentesting career. I'm interested in network security and I feel it's the best suitable job for me.
I got an unconditional offer to study at Northumbria and I have also applied at Abertay and other unis. I would like to have a feedback about the modules taught by people who are working as professional pentesters. They are useful, pointless stuff or else? Below there are the links:
http://www.northumbria.ac.uk/?view=CourseDetail&code=UUSETH1 (students are also trained to achieve the CEH cert during their uni time at no extra cost)
http://www.abertay.ac.uk/studying/find/ug/ethhaccount/(they launched the world's first degree on this subject)
Which course do you seem to provide the best learning path? I'm aware that it's just a point of start and what is really king is experience and the passion that this job requires for an entire life.
BTW, I plan to achieve OSCP and OSCE during my degree course to have the practical skills may permit me to get a junior position on pentesting field when I graduate.
Thank you in advance,
