backtrack 4 R2 is out

BackTrack Linux 4 R2 is out. They've also added a wiki. The wireless section of the Wiki would have been helpful when I was starting the WiFu course back in June.

Re: backtrack 4 R2 is out

This would be a good opportunity to release an updated/v2 version of OffSec's WiFu course. :)

Re: backtrack 4 R2 is out

But what's new in release 2? In 30 seconds, I couldn't find anything on their web site! (sorry, I am at work and I don't have time to search right now...)

  • Metasploit rebuilt from scratch, MySQL db_drivers working out of the box.
  • Updated old packages, added new ones, and removed obsolete ones.
