rescue cd

Hello Members,  Are they any antivirus rescue cd's/tool kit..remote tools which are helpful in cleaning malware

Most linux live cds should work. Ubuntu+clamav maybe. I've used Trinity Rescue Kit with varying degrees of success at work. Maybe about 75%.

I have used Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool.  Located here...http://support.kaspersky.com/viruses/avptool2010?level=2

It has helped in most cases for Windows boxes used in safe mode (as long as you keep getting the latest version of signatures).
