Pen Testing Perfect Storm Webcast Series: Part 4 - We Love Microsoft!

EH-Net is not doing an official Q&A this time, but many of you attended parts of this series, so I thought it would be of interest to all of you. I sent a quick note about it to all of our members, but also wanted to let readers who are not yet members know about it as well.

The Pen Testing Perfect Storm Trilogy Redux: "We Love Microsoft!" – with SANS instructors Ed Skoudis, Joshua Wright and Kevin Johnson

Date: Tuesday, April 6, 2010
Time: 2pm EDT / 11am PDT (GMT -4:00, New York)
Register: http://na-d.marketo.com/lp/coresecurity ... html

*** A recording of the webcast will be sent to everyone who registers, so be sure to sign up even if you can’t make the live session. ***
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The webcast series that refuses to die is back. During the fourth installment of the Pen Testing Perfect Storm Trilogy, security experts Ed Skoudis, Joshua Wright and Kevin Johnson will teach you how to fly in the face of convention and take new approaches leveraging Microsoft environments for penetration testing prowess.

You'll learn tips and techniques for integrating network, web application and wireless penetration testing in Microsoft-centric networks with the latest in Windows 7, Windows 2008 Server SP2 and more. A webcast not to be missed will leave you:

• Celebrating the enhanced wireless attack capabilities of Windows 7
• Rejoicing in Sharepoint pivoting attacks
• Triumphing over the usefulness of information disclosure in default IIS installs
• Reveling over the features of Windows networking kung-fu
• Delighting in attack automation for large-scale enterprise assessments

As always, the Perfect Storm Team will use real-world scenarios to demonstrate the power of seamlessly pivoting between attack vectors during your security assessments.

> Bonus: Register now and you’ll also get on-demand access to the original recordings and slides for The Pen Testing Perfect Storm Trilogy Parts I-III.

Even if you can't attend tomorrow, be sure to sign up so you can get access to all 4 webcasts.

I'm in as well.

Unless I missed something, it looks like that link only allows you to download PDFs of the slide decks for the previous webcasts.

I found this: http://na-d.marketo.com/lp/coresecurity ... nfirm.html but it looks like the first one is no longer available...

Just had a last minute change in schedule, so I'll be there, too!! It's always intended to go back and watch webcasts I miss, but in all honesty, if I don't catch it live, chances are I don't go back.

How about you? How often do you go back and watch a streaming version of something you missed?

I try to go back, but it may take up to a year to do so.

Yea, just something else that gets added to the list, right? ;)

It is, but I do manage to clear the list once in a while. Things like the web seminar catchup are what I do when I can't sleep.

Good stuff. It was fairly high-level, but they got through a lot of material in just an hour. I always enjoy being introduced to new topics or ideas; I find I can usually research the technical details on my own. I'm looking forward to the future parts as well.
