Where did Metasploit Shellcode generator go?

I was curious if anybody knew when or if the metasploit shellcode generator would come back online. When I go to www.metasploit.com:55555/PAYLOADS the connection times out.

Also if anybody know of any good alternatives to this outside of making your own shellcode that would be great.

Thanks

Re: Where did Metasploit Shellcode generator go?

The metasploit shellcode generator was simply a web interface to Metasploit's capabilities. You should be able to replace it's functionality with msfpayload and msfencode from the Metasploit framework itself.

As coincidence has it I'm working with these tools at the moment, simple to use and well documented if you encounter problems. Google should help you get started.
