Security+ Needs Subject Matter Experts!

I am a Security+ Subject Matter Expert (SME), and the experience was not only rewarding but it also looks great on a resume. Here's your chance:

Dear Security Professional,

CompTIA is currently seeking Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to provide assistance in an Item Development Workshop for the new CompTIA Security+ (2008 Edition) exam.  Item Development is the phase of exam development when the questions for the exam are written. The workshop is taking place Feb. 11-15, 2008. Assistance from security SMEs is crucial to the relevance and quality of the program; and SME participation ensures that CompTIA certifications are a valued benchmark for employers, as well as certification candidates.

More information on the parameters of SME participation in the workshop as well as application procedures may be found here:

While it is definitely a full week of work, an item writing workshop is an excellent way to connect with peers in the industry, exchange ideas and practices, and build your network.  If you are qualified, we hope you will submit an application.

Thank you,
CompTIA Security+ Product Manager
