Frontline: Spying on the Home Front

Great documentary from PBS. Worth your time especially since you can watch it for free on their site:

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/homefront/

Go there, watch it, add your comments here.

Would topics like this be of particular interest to our readers if we ever decided to get into some investigative reporting as opposed to just doing our tutorial based topics?

Here's an interesting slideshow from eWeek that is somewhat related. It all falls into the category of the gov't using data for more than just terrorist suspects.

FBI Data Mining for More than Terror

The FBI's data-mining initiatives go well beyond the scope of foreign intelligence and anti-terrorism to search for pharmaceutical prescription abuse, auto-insurance fraud and more.
