Re: Tut - Cracking Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA)

I would just love a program that is based in Windows. I would also love to figure out how to crack a WEP key without the use of a program. Or at least figure out how the program does it. Im not really interested in the source code, although that would probably be the easiest way to learn (If I knew the source code), but how to do it on pen and paper... But then again, imagine all the pens I would go through...

Not to slam you or anything, but cracking encrypted passwords (or encryption keys) requires some serious math. How are you at factoring prime numbers? that's what it takes. You can and will frequently end up with answers in excess of 100 digits. Email me for an Excel spreadsheet I got whenI attended my Ethical Hacking class; it explains it in a little more detail.
Also, how fast a CPU do you have. You could very easily be dealing in some problems that will take a few MIPS-Years to solve.
