Exploring the weaknesses of mobile encryption for corporate laptops; any gauge (aside from cost) as to the drawbacks of Check Point's newly acquired Pointsec? - potential vulnerabilities included -

Are you asking about the drawbacks of encryption in the corporate environment, when it comes to carrying out forensic investigations?

The chief drawbacks are performance overhead and data recovery in the event the key/passphrase are lost. I'm not aware of any specific vulnerabilities in Pointsec, maybe google might turn up something.
