OSCP Preparation

Hi everyone,

Just a question regarding preparations for the OSCP. Can anyone tell me if the python lessons on codeacademy.com is enough preparation for the tasks in the PWB training? Do I need to read other python related materials?

PS
I already know the OSCP covers a lot more topics  :D

Thx

Re: OSCP Preparation

The python lessons on codeacademy.com will be enough. Worse case, you will see what you're missing once you are in the PWB course and you can easily find examples on the web.

Good luck!

If you can do socket programming with python you're set. Here's a handy resource: http://www.binarytides.com/python-socke ... -tutorial/

Re: OSCP Preparation

You don't need to learn a scripting language for OSCP, as you would only use basic scripts for buffer overflow and overall scripting only forms 5% of the course.
But if you have the time and will to learn, it will help you in the future..good luck..
