After CISSP what next?

Guys

I just finished CISSP (waiting endorsement), now I have three options where to go:

1. Go deep with pentest and finish OSCP - That my fist one and I am more incline for this.

2. Do MSCE - supervisor keep asking me for this (he is not paying anything though).

3. Get stronger in Linux and do LPI.

This is killing me, what do you guys recommend me?, please shoot your ideas or challenge me!!!! LOL

Re: After CISSP what next?

Looks to me that you already made up your mind and now you just want confirmation :P
As you're interested in pentesting, and linux is a big part of it, I would suggest to start there.
Once you're comfortable with linux (as well as being able to write small bash scripts), go for OSCP.
TLCL is a great free resource.
LinuxFoundation also started their 2nd offering of Intro to Linux through edx.

Good luck!

Re: After CISSP what next?

Seems as though you are not short on options but have multiple paths based on what gets you jazzed, what your boss needs and what MIGHT make you more money. So my recommendation would be to do a Venn Diagram and see where your personal interests match up with your career possibilities (and more money). That's where you should go next.

Hope that helps,
Don

I like that, I work like crazy because I love what I do, the money is very short and I am in USA. Come on!!!!!

I think I will shoot OSCP, it is more appealing, I really want to go more pentesting. Last month a recruiter contact me for pentesting job and they a did a live challenge, I think I did not do good like they were expecting, I think they wanted very high, so I discovered a lot of weak areas in pentesting so it is time to go deap not more for the sides.

Its an interesting thing you have been brought your issue on this platform but keep in mind here you will get lots of advises but you must follow the RIGHT option,
If i were suggested say to do only which you think can be done easily..But i would like to say (3)..
