Please Help me

Hello guys
I am a newbie in vsphere and in our company we have an esx server on (hp dl380 g7) with 48 GB of ram and with 6 hard disks and we are running six Vms and on each vm, we have "Windows Server 2008 R2". Now, we do need to install one more VM on the server but we cannot realize what can be happened if we do that. Because the hp smart array p410i Raid controller is super busy and it can crash the server if we add one more. Can you please read the performance record files that i have exported and tell us if that we can add the VM or not? the servers on vsphere has some critical rules for our company so we cannot risk for any kind of crash at all

Please help me i do need to that

Re: Please Help me

Have you tried asking the question on the VMware vSphere community forums?

Re: Please Help me

I'm no expert in VMware, but any additional load on the ESX host shouldn't "crash" anything - the worse that should happen is that you'll get slow downs if the resource pools haven't been correctly configured.

I'd look into the source of the problem (Storage array firmware perhaps?) before worrying about adding the additional VM.
