      I’ve been following this story through various news sources and thought it worth sharing for those who may not have seen it. For me it came as a reminder of how technology has become so pervasive throughout our lives, and the implications it can have upon us:

      Time to buy a new one  😀

      “After extensive research we are clear that none of our latest models – new 1 Series Hatch, 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series and 7 Series – nor any other BMW built after September 2011 can be stolen using this method.

      I wonder how many other car companies have this problem. if I knew more about it, and had a programmable key, I’d be practicing on my  car.

      I think its pretty much all of them from what I read that use the same sort technology.
