Is everyone registered for eLearnSecurity‘s New Course Launch on 11/25? They’re releasing an Advanced Version of their Web Application Penetration Testing course.

If you are not signed up for the launch yet, you can sign up here.

    Looks promising!

    Thoughts?

I am currently enrolled in elearnSecurity’s PWD (Practical Web Defense) and from what I am seen till now, its good. They have both PDF’s + Video explanations for each and every modules and also the videos are clear, crystal and to the point. I have also read good Reviews about WAPT course and I have a positive feeling about there latest course WAPTX.

They are also Giving a free entry to WAPTX to one lucky attendee of the webnair. I will be quite lucky if I can get my hands on the course by winning the giveaway 😉

    Quick summary of yesterday’s webinar.
eLearnSecurity released their new Web Application Penetration Testing eXtreme course along with their new eWPTX Certification. Here is a look at the Syllabus.

Through and up to November 30th, you can use the coupon code: WAPTX-NEW-30 during checkout to receive a 30% discount on the course. You’ll also be automatically upgraded to the next higher edition for free through this date. See plans here. You can bundle other courses for additional savings.

Existing eLS Students can check their inbox for a separate coupon code to get 40% the normal enrollment fees for WAPTX.

A recording was made of the Webinar. Once the eLS Team puts it out, a link will be shared here to it.

The Demo Gods weren’t very kind to Guiseppe, but it was an interesting webinar none the less.

The XXE (XML External Entity) attack demonstrated was something new to me. I haven’t tried this out myself yet, but the XML External Entity Training: A virtual machine image containing a sample XXE vulnerable web app looks like it could be useful for trying it out.
