Just came across this lab setup seems pretty good as the network offers a Bank like setup.
Also Joe is a renowned name in Security.

    As per website :

Starting on the 1st of September Strategic Security will begin offering pentester lab access. You will receive VPN access to the lab network of over 300 hosts running all kinds of things like:

    Sharepoint, System Center, Lync
    WordPress, Drupal, Joomla
    Oracle
    Cisco
    Avaya
    Unix hosts

There are rumblings out there about his ethics, one such thing is the “borrowing” of security related training material and calling it his own. Not saying its true or not but might want to do some research before signing up.

I can remember an incident from earlier this year, there was a post here about it: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=9918&start=15

I don’t know Joe personally or taken any of his courses, but I have enjoyed many of his presentations.

IIRC the impression I got from my twitter feed at the time was that the majority of people were supportive of Joe.

However, as El33tsamurai suggested do your own research and formulate your own opinion.

Out of curiosity, I had a look at http://attrition.org/ and couldn’t find any reference to it?

The people on the charlatan’s list have really earned their place there. You’re not going to get on there through a dispute with your business partner. They are also given a chance to come clean and redeem themselves. Also, I have heard Jericho say Joe is a cool guy to drink with (um, which is clearly relevant to his technical offerings).

I agree. It’s not clear from my post, but I was referring to the plagarism section of attrition.org.
