      Hi Folks,

I have registered for OSCP 30 days lab package starting from 14 April 2013 i.e. next weekend. I have fair experience in the field of
Pentest, AppSec and Exploit writing. I would request some suggestion
from the OSCP cert holders that may be useful in my lab and exam time.

Any help would be highly appreciated 🙂

Also, if anyone have their labs at same time and would like to gang
up, feel free to approach me.

      Cheers m/

Welcome to EH and good luck on your OSCP, you’ll have a blast.

There are really good OSCP threads every other month so if you do a search you’ll find threads 50-60 posts long of great info. I’ve read them all and will reread them before I try for mine.

Welcome and good luck! This has been the best message board I have seen so far when it comes to the OSCP and ethical hacking.

      Welcome vaibhg!

Your going to have a fun time in the course. Here is my review of the course, and I listed off some useful resources that I used when I was going through it.

Like others have stated, there are some really great threads on here regarding the OSCP. Read through review after review and that will help you feel more comfortable about the course.

      Cheers,
      Vaibhav

I have one minor tip: Even though you have experience, I would first review the PDF and video’s…and then start the lab. I have heard this suggestion from multiple people.

      +1

And do ALL the “extra mile” exercises if your goal is to challenge the exam. To a certain extend, the exam could be seen as harder than most hosts in the lab. So be humble and keep pushing until you’re ready!

In addition, the OffSec forum and IRC channel are also useful.

Thanks YuckTheFanke, I am already started working on the PDFs labs in my virtual environment and I’ll be doing all extra miles exercises as suggested by H1t M0nk3y!:)

Thanks m0wgli, hope to have some help from the IRC/forums.

      Cheers m/
