Dear community of The Ethical Hacker Network,

After many months of struggle I have finally been able to pass my OSCE examination and I am now Offensive Security Certified Expert. The course it self was hard but not impossible to learn, do and complete however the examination was not easy at all.

It isn’t for fun you’re certified as an “Expert” when you do the OSCE certification because it really is that hard in my opinion, but far from impossible as you can see since there are OSCE’s in this world.

I don’t think it would be appropriate by copy+pasting my process here through CTP (Cracking the Perimeter) and the OSCE examination, so here’s the links to my 4 blog entries about the course and the final examination.

Thanks a lot to all of you, it was a huge satisfaction to finally pass and become certified since it’s one of my dreams to take all the best certifications and I believe Offensive Security is some of the very best courses + certifications  🙂 (Even though they’re not easy, they’re awesome imho.)

Eventually I will get around to the OCSE personally, RWSP is the cream of the crop to me. It’s the only exam to fight back 😉 Congrats BTW

Thanks impelse and awesec, I am glad that I after so many months of struggle finally did it  🙂 There was of course, even a short period where I was unsure whether I could actually do it but I didn’t give up hehe I kept fighting till I had a solution  😉

Congratulations MaXe!  Having done PWB and gotten OSCP, and knowing the guys over at OffSec (plus getting through the registration process for CTP – haven’t taken the class yet), I know it couldn’t have been easy!

      Kind regards,

Thanks impelse and eternal_security, and yes you are right that from the very beginning to the end it began on an intermediate skill, at least for me to the most hardcore challenge I have ever done. Still, highly recommendable  ;D

Good luck with the course eternal_security, it’ll challenge you and you’ll enjoy most likely every bit of pain included within the course  🙂

      Thanks dynamik and qnix  🙂

It’s been some time since I passed now (5th Nov 2010), but I’m glad you took the time to congratulate me anyway  😉
