Yep, known (or guessed) plaintext is a powerful tool in cracking codes like this. Substitutions ciphers can fall very quickly when you can determine some of the letters in the code. Punctuation and letter spacing also helps a lot and in this case there’s a very easy crib if you look about half way down.
