I’m new to Ethical hacking but I’ve been an IT/Network consultant for over 20 years. It seems a lot of times I people calling my office asking for help with their facebook account. Either they have forgotten their password, or they got a message stating that it was locked because of suspicious activity.
Because I don’t know who these people are, I refuse to help them other than advising them to call facebook and ask for their assistance. I just wonder. Is it even possible to hack into a locked facbook account so that the rightful owner can reset the password or get it unlocked? That seems like something that can’t be done ethically to me.
Thoughts?
