And now here we are in 2018
– BSides Chicago #008 –
and it’s time get this party started!!
What is BSides?
Each BSides Security Conference is a community-driven framework for building events for and by information security community members. The goal is to expand the spectrum of conversation beyond the traditional confines of space and time. It creates opportunities for individuals to both present and participate in an intimate atmosphere that encourages collaboration. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from participants. It is where conversations for the next-big-thing are happening.
What Are People Saying About BSides Chicago?
“I submitted because I think the bsides conferences are important, too many people depend on getting their experience from the bigger conventions such as Defcon or Blackhat, and miss out on the more intimate conferences where just as much information can be exchanged. As for why Chicago, I lived in Chicago for some time with my now Fiancée, I fell in love with the city and love going back.”
-Peter Ewave, Security Researcher, Alienvault
“The Executive Women’s Forum on Information Security, Risk Management and Privacy is honored to support and sponsor BSides Chicago. We share a common goal of supporting and advancing women in cybersecurity, and resonate with their community driven framework and collaborative, interactive atmosphere.”
