Now that the holidays are upon us and the New Year is right around the corner, this is the traditional time to plan and make resolutions. Plan your budgets, plan your projects and, of course, make plans for your educational goals for the upcoming year.

With security, ethical hacking and forensics being the hot topics going into 2006, you have many paths from which to choose. As you make those decisions, EH-Net will make it our New Year’s Resolution to help in any and every way that we possibly can. Make requests and recommendations in the forums, and trust me when I say that you will be heard.

Specific Goals For 2006

  • Add 2 more regular columnists within the first 6 months.
  • Personally take CEH / CPTS Boot Camp and write an exhaustive article on the experience similar to my CSP Mag article, Luck, Career Goals and a CISSP Boot Camp.
  • Continue to bring you new and up-to-date content on a regular basis.
  • Get special deals and discounts for members on the products mentioned throughout the site.

It is said that your goals will never be realized unless you write them down. Share them with others and it puts pressure on you to complete them. Now that I’ve shared mine with you, it’s time for you to share your goals with us by responding to this article in the forums. This way we can all pressure each other in making 2006 a successful (and secure) year!
