Need some MYSQL practical Resources

hi guys,
i had recently done a course on LAMP,
i got a decent theoretical understanding about the operations on mysql,
now i am much more interested in focusing  ONLY hands-on training in mysql(Not on theories),but when ever i search
on internet i have been ended up with theory books,
i need resources which focuses only on hands on training in mysql or some mysql related project resources.

hope some one will guide me in right direction

Are you looking for MySQL training or more something like SQL training?

I have been a MySQL DBA for 4 years in the past, so I know it pretty well now. Most developers or hackers really want to know how to connect to MySQL and run SQL statements while DBAs want to know how to install, configure and administer the RDBMS.

So what is your real goal? We will be able to help you better once we understand what you are looking for.

I would also suggest reading as much as you can on SQL Injection.  There are a ton of varieties of this attack and a ton of Internet resources to go along with it.

In terms of SQL Injection attacks, I'd recommend the book SQL Injection Attacks and Defense, which is a great read.

I'm standing by my original recommendation. I think the best way to attack something is to understand how it works from the inside-out, so building your own web apps will take you a long way. That book will take you through some MySQL setup, but you're not going to be DBA-level or anything like that.
