First thing you do is contact them using their site, they will contact you, you give them your information, they check it, they will contact you, and you have to do some agreement stuff, then you make payment, and get your lab guide and videos.
Lab guide is most important imo.
it starts out with talking about 802.*, and protocols and chan/freq.
then its about wireless modes.
then its packets, they did a very good job of explaining packets, one at a time, they explain each field and what data in it means.
hardware and antennas are also mentioned in there.
after that aircrack-ng suit stuff starts, it has stuff about each different tool, and it talks mostly about aireplay-ng(nobody wants to wait hours to capture ivs).
packetforge-ng, kismet, airsnarf are also in lab guide and video.
then its about doing attacks (wep[opn,ska], wpa)
exam:
4 hours (i finished under hour)
you ssh into their bt3 box, attack AP's crack the key
you report how you did it, what commands you used, and keys to them in 24 hours. then you are done (i hope i get the cert soon)
this course is recommended to ethical n00bs who crack wep by watching videos and not understanding, and young people who are interested in career in infosec.
and for people who are good at this, and do this, they also offer only exam to get the cert.
bad(not really bad) part about this course is, it doesn't have information about tools like cowpatty or other tools(airdrop-ng, mdk3)(i hope they come out with new version), but it doesn't mean its not used today, people still use WEP, and people also use weak passphrases in WPA.
I have learned lots of things that i didn't know from this course, before this i only cracked wep(opn) from youtube videos without knowing what i was doing(thankfully those video didn't tell me to rm -rf /*).
for me this is good point to start(remember i am still in HS)
this is very bad review, so ask me questions, i am better at them.
And recommend stuff for young people..it helps(fo realz).

Do you recommend some people to do this training before PWB? Does this training require a deep knowledge about wireless?

1, since they both are different things, it won't matter. it does require little knowledge about tcp/ip, linux, but lots of things are explained in the lab guide. |

good review, even for a short one. i like that you mention the registration part for people that dont have experience in registering for this certification. this might even have triggered me to do this one first before OSCP! now lets keep our fingers crossed that you passed  |

Way to go pizza1337.
Review was good. I'm looking forward to taking this, just to get some extra skill with the tools before taking the test. Although most of my wireless security has been hunt the rogue ap, not break into the ap.
