Not sure what it is you are asking. I can guess...

Basic fundamental idea of 'ethical' hacking is to utilize the same tools and methods as malicious hackers in order to test your own systems (networks, apps, etc.) or the systems of your client with full and documented authorization.

Notice I wrote malicious hackers, because the term hacking is not by nature a negative term. We could also use the word cracker.
