Back in mid 2004, after gathering information to further my own security career, I found that not only did I amass a staggering amount of information but also that there seemed to be no site that gathered it all in one spot. Light Bulb!! I bought the domain name, starting putting things in a logical order and did a soft launch and the end of 2004. All was going well during our "beta period,"so I decided to make an Official Launch the first week in April at SANS 2005. That's when I got the bright idea to offer Free Monthly Giveaways to increase membership and participation. Well, here we are 1 year later, and to celebrate, we go back to our first sponsor, CompTIA.
