are you able to tell us which application? Was it mainstream or in-house?

Just trying to get a better feel for the bigger picture, thanks in advance.

It is a commercial tool known as Epicore.

I hated vista when i first got it on my laptop, however i have learned to like it, in a couple of years vista will be a dominant os, like others have said i strongly suggest you upgrade to at least 2 gb of ram to avoid a sluggish system, i have gone back and forth about 5 times, and i think im gonna stick with it this time just to learn it inside and out, good luck.
