[Article]-Nov 2006 Free Giveaway Winners

Over the past year, we have collected a number of items that are just not being used or are duplicates. And everyone knows our philosophy... if a prize does not find a good home then it's just going to waste. For the first month of our new schedule (Giveaways now start on the 1st of the month not the 15th), our parent company The Digital Construction Company is doing a little housekeeping, and EH-Net members get to benefit.
CompTIA
has pitched in a little junk as well. All told we have approximately
$1500 worth of prizes this month
for
winning members skel, slimjim100, mn_kthompson and p0et
. Click link below to see who won what.
Your Continuing Mission:
Advance your career by contributing to the community. This simple concept works
real wonders
. 10,000s of dollars in prizes have already been awarded to top contributors!! You could be next.

Don Thanks again! I used the Voucher for the Security+ (with 2 days to study between my full time job) today and passed the exam. Thanks for the nice gift and I hope to help you build this community.
Thanks,

Not trying to suck up here but I did want to say thanks again to Don! I got the Technical Books in from the November Prize and all I can say is wow! I also found some cool vendor shirts in the box too! Thank you Don and I encourage everyone here to get involved in the forums as it dose pay off and you can and will be rewarded for your time. So far from the November prize offering I was able to Get my Security+ certification and also some very nice and new Cisco Security books. I look forward to seeing a lot of new members posting and sharing in the forums for 2007!
Thanks,
Brian

I did not get a CompTIA book from the November giveaway but I already had a CBT and an older book. I kinda of just flew blind into the test and passed. But the books I did get are very good! I got a few Cisco MARS Security books and also Security in Computing Fourth Edition. I have heard the CBT Nuggets are good and I have also used Smart force in the past. Good luck with training the contractors.
