Are you going to research new or old topics?

If it's old topics, you can go through WEP (there's a few, one of them is "chop chop", WPA2 Hole 196, WPS, and of course bruteforce / rainbow attacks, etc. but that only applies if you mean 802.11

You could also research Bluetooth security, or even more interesting, RFID security. The last one has quite a lot of problems, where Myth Busters was going to reveal their research during a program but were forced to go silent, by the big names in the payment card industry.

So with RFID you could most likely research new things, in e.g., credit cards and other objects, where tracking, and especially security issues could be interesting.

You probably want to look at the alphabet soup that comprises WPA Enterprise. WEP and WPA/WPA2 PSK have been heavily documented but there is far less documentation on cracking the enterprise level wireless. Basically, the authentication is moved to a separate server via RADIUS or something else instead of over the air. Anyways, here is a good start for you http://www.irongeek.com/i.php?page=videos/attacking-and-securing-wpa-enterprise-matt-neely

Clearly the title of your thread means this should not be in the Ethical Hacktivism category. Gee... how about the Wireless Board?

Moving...

And why a poll with the options 1 Help & 2 me?Huh Poll removed.
