Hi everyone,

Are there any current hakin9 subscribers in here ? I've read a couple of the  free magazine but I would also need a honest review to help make a proper decision on this mag.

Is the magazine still delivered in hard or softcopy ? Is the 221.40 USD for 1 Year subscription worth spending ?

Thanks y'all..  Wink

Hello nikmidu,

Welcome to the site. I'm not a subscriber personally, but I dug around here and found some older threads that may help out.

Hackin9 Magazine: Worthy?

New Security Magazine hackin9

Hackin9 First Online Issue

Going through some of the threads a couple members mention they're subscribers, you may want to PM them and ask them or hopefully they'll post here. Just hope these help you out a little bit more.

One of the more recent magazines that I hear are great is Pentest Magazine. You may want to consider it as a contender. Though I have heard Hackin9 puts on Pentest Magazine.

I used to buy Hakin9 when they had the in store addition. When they switched to online, I continued as well. Unfortunately, I cant pay the current prices for a subscription when most of the content is way above my understanding level (i.e. involves code. :p )

Yep! In effect now... The Hacking Dojo has hooked up with Hakin9 and PenTest Magazines to offer free six-month subscriptions after signing up with the Dojo. Check out HackingDojo.com for specifics.
