Not a bad way to end the year and a great sendoff into what is going to be a banner year for EH-Net. I'm very excited for 2012, and with this prize, it will be extra-special for one EH-Netter! Play nicely!!  Wink

Win Seat in SANS Event Simulcast = $4600!!

In a continuing effort to provide top quality training in a format that helps those with strapped travel budgets, SANS has come up with a unique way of being at the event... without actually being at the event. Introducing SANS Event Simulcast. Simply log in to a virtual classroom to see, hear, and participate in the class as it is being presented LIVE at the event. The Event Simulcast option is available for many classes offered at our largest training events. 1 top EH-Net contributor will win their choice of the following courses at SANS 2012 starting March 25:

   - SEC401: SANS Security Essentials Bootcamp Style $4395

   - MGT414:
SANS® +S™ Training Program for the CISSP® Certification Exam $3995

   - DEV522:
Defending Web Applications Security Essentials $4195

   - SEC560:
Network Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking $4595

So although it would be awesome to be in Orlando, FL in March, at least there's a way to still get the training you need even if your budget dictates otherwise. So as we do every month here on EH-Net, those who contribute the most to the community... be it helping a newbie, spreading the word of EH-Net, writing articles or posting in the forums... win kewl stuff! Mmmm... DEV522. Keep missing opportunity to do this one. Too bad I'll be in Orlando already as a volunteer for SEC504. Damn STI students keep leapfrogging me for SEC660. *grumble grumble* I suppose I should become a STI student just so I can get priority too...

Good luck to folks on this one. Great contest again!

So, will people be able to attend the actual even if they're in that area?

EH-Net has the best prizes. Smiley

If the SANS Live classes are anything like the SANS On Demand classes, it will be excellent. I've narrowed it down to two. Not sure if I could keep up with the pace of the SEC560, but I would love to try it.

I hope I win this prize, but if I dont..I'll still probably go to SANS ORLANDO 2012 and take a course. So hopefully I'll meet one of you.
