Hello All,

Dont know how active this section of the forum is, but i'll give it a shot. I'm looking at moving to Maryland to attend school, and its also the where a lot of the work I would like to do is based. I know a few things about Maryland from my research.

1. Commuting sucks.
2. People are not the best (?)
3. Housing is expensive

So does anyone have any advice for anyone planning to move into the area? I'm especially worried about the cost of living and commuting to school. I would be interested in renting an appt. maybe with another tenant...  Also, I am hopping to get a job, so what kind of part time work is generally available, to work in with a full school schedule?
