Nah.  IF he goes there, for ITBT, as he claims, she IS their listed instructor / department head.  So it's highly possible / probable that he's legit, at least as far as going to school there.  After all, he DOES intend to hack his teacher's account (whether legitimately or not...) 

The assignment, however, is yet to be confirmed.

Sounds like a fun teacher to me! lol  (or maybe a lazy teacher who couldn't think of a proper lesson plan) "OK class, just hack my account"  I'm surprised he actually gave us his teachers email address but I'd be even more surprised if he's legit.
