So, I dunno if this is the right forum for this but, does anybody have a link to a download for DVL 1.5 (Infectious Disease)?  The newest/only one I could find (and it took forever) was 1.4 (Strychnine).

Anybody have the .iso willing to upload it somehwere or psot a link to a download/torrent for it??

Thank you  Smiley

I searched around for v1.5 awhile back and was only able to find one link to download it over at intern0t:

http://forum.intern0t.net/gnu-linux/4118-download-damn-vulnerable-linux-1-5-a.html

I haven't downloaded it yet, but shared with a friend who downloaded it.  He said it took a really long time, but it eventually finished.

I'm also curious as to what's going on with v2.0.  According to their site (http://www.damnvulnerablelinux.org/), a new website design along with v2.0 was supposed to be released this last summer.

I seen that but it's getting to be Fall now and no updates...hopefully it's not an abandoned project...it was a good idea

It seems though, lately, their are a lot more vulnerable ISOs coming out.

Am I missing any that you know of?

Overall, I have:

hackerdemia
de-ice
Damn Vulnerable Linux
OWASP LiveCD
Damn Vulnerable Web App
WebGoat (not an ISO, you know)

That's a good list there.  "Metasploitable" and "Ultimate LAMP" are pretty common as well.  Irongeek put together a list of vulnerable web apps as well, some that aren't on your list there:
