I'm a newbie, I want to begin learning wireless security/penetration testing for wireless networks
and I'm wondering where to begin, so please help. Thanks.

You have several options
- Hacking Exposed Wireless..Josh wright et al
- Offensive Security[OSWP]
- SANS security 617
- SecurityTube[there is an archive here somewhere]

That list should get u started.

start with the security tube wireless lan megaprimer, very informative from a to z, that will keep you busy for the first week Wink

SecurityTube is good, I am following the videos. After some practice I begin to see the picture.... Donwload the full dvd.

some of the stuff on the aircrack-ng website is worth it too. I supplemented some stuff from there when I was doing the OSWP

Okay thanks everyone. I appreciate your help. I'm new to learning about wireless networks in general, so I'll learn about it some more and then I'll have a look at WLAN security megaprimer.
