New security hole discovered

One student told me that he discovered that it is very easy to hack computer tracking program from Absolute Software which is installed on 1000+ computers.
He did it over the Internet and got full remote control over the computer. But don't tell me much details.
Does anybody know how to hack this program over the Internet?

Give me the name of the software and I'll go find the 0 day and notify the vendor.
