Hi guys,

I'm looking for some help in the realm of a PenTesting/NetworkSec thesis for my Masters in InfoSec @Royal Holloway

I've been toying around with the thought of doing some form of DPI analysis. I was going to take a look at the following subjects:

-Security of SCTP
-Port Knocking
-TCP Cookies vs SYN Cookies
-Writing a new script for NMAP (no idea what at the minute)
-Some form of analysis of the TOR network
-Something to do with Scapy/Python

So many ideas but it's hard to figure out what to do. I know normally they say don't think of a subject, but think of a question. But I have so many questions to ask!

Any thoughts about interesting subjects you guys have? Will be of great help
