Is the EC council strict with this. I dont have direct employment history related to security, however, i have been involved in security on a grey hat level for about 7 years and in desktop architecture type roles for about 10.

Any way around this req?  Huh

Most understand that certain IT positions without a specific security related title does have some security components in the job description, and so does EC-Council. I don't think you'll have a problem.
