Ah yeah I'm on both of those forums and I'd have to agree with you!  Wink

It's kinda sad actually.  When I first joined them I thought, "great a place where people treat each other with respect".  This was due to the fact that most people have a BA and that carries a certain level of decorum and class.  Well I was dead wrong. I will not participate in any threads from now on.

This site has been different.

Is the OnDemand Courses worth it? Are the Materials they send you good?  I'm also thinking about taking the 408 and 508 Courses, but I only can do them OnDemand.
Thanks

well since I am sitting in class right now (SANS 408) it's easy for me to understand why they push the ondemnad stuff.  The info I have gotten so far has been nothing short of fantastic and I am learning tons of cool stuff. For instance where to look for the USB registery, look at chat logs, emails, and even use a nifty tool that I can drag and drop onto it and see all the metadata like when the pic was taken, where, the longitude and latitude and who even took the picture.  With this tool I can see so many times I can screw with my friends....LOL

According to Eric (the teacher) he says that the ondemend is great reference because you can review stuff and go back over something if you did not pick it up in class.  Since there is so much info they give us it's understandable.

I think the ondemand stuff is worth it and I still have 2 days left of class,
