Looks like not many have come across this problem, I am still trying to figure out if this could a problem with metasploit framework I have is outdated. Any pointers to what could be the problem would be helpful.

Poltergeist,
I've got BT4-R2 and initially had a few issues with Dradis but not as bad as yours.  I ended up going to the dradis site and getting the latest version off there.

I had a few little issues/niggles during the install but now have the latest version running fine on both my PC and laptop.  etd, the guy who runs dradis is very helpful and fairly quick to respond to any questions or queries posted on the forums.
