Each BSides is a community-driven framework for building events for and by information security community members.  The goal is to expand the spectrum of conversation beyond the traditional confines of space and time.  It creates opportunities for individuals to both present and participate in an intimate atmosphere that encourages collaboration. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from participants. It is where conversations for the next-big-thing are happening.

Bsides has been booked up solid for nearly two months now!

My boss is going to infosec as well as he finishes with us end of this year so he wants to go do some networking.  Means I don't get to go to infosec this year.

Next year I hope to get both in as i'll be the one leaving and needing to do the networking!

To all the UK based members, it was a very good day. 

The good news is they are planning another one for later this year, date tbc but probably around sept/oct time. T

hey are looking at branching out and holding one somewhere else in the country (up north like) as well as the london venue
