DerbyCon 2011
September 30 - Oct 2, 2011
Louisville, Kentucky
Great speaker lineup already including EH-Net's own Chris Gates, Skillz Host Ed Skoudis, previous contributor to EH-Net Chris Nickerson, and many other friends such as HD Moore, Kevin Mitnick, Paul Asadoorian, Larry Pesche, Carlos Perez, Bruce Potter, Rafal Los, John Strand, Adrian Crenshaw, Chris Hadnagy et al.
DerbyCon isn’t just another security conference. We’ve taken the best elements from all of the conferences we’ve ever been to and put them into one. DerbyCon is a place you can call home, where you can meet each other, party, and learn. Our goal is to create a fun environment where the security community can come together to share ideas and concepts. Whether you know Linux, how to program, are established in security, or a hobbyist, the ideal of DerbyCon is to promote learning and strengthen the community.
DerbyCon has very limited ticketing/spacing in order to ensure the conference maintains its quality without losing focus on large crowds or an unmanageable influx of people. If you’re planning on attending, please do not wait until the last minute as the tickets will not be available. To see the ticketing schedule for purchasing, be sure to check the registration page. We have already selected a handful of top-notch speakers but are accepting a number of spots for presentations under the CFP section. The conference is setup so you can go to the talks during the day and then attend either training or BSIDES at night.
Venue

This con is honestly going to be the con of the year for me, maybe the decade. The line up is a Who's Who of my twitter feed, and all around an amazing set of guys. We have developers from the Backtrack group, the guy that runs Shmoocon, Metasploit guys, SET guy, it just goes on and on. This is going to be a good time, and should sell out quick!

There is also an IRC channel on Freenode.
I'm looking forward to this one too.

I agree! Thank you. At least people can still view the talks if they could not make it.

Thanks for the link. I'd intended to look for those, but have been wrapped up in other things the past couple of weeks. Appreciated.
