Nothing official this year. Raphael Mudge and I will be at Galleria Bar @ Caesars in about 10 minutes. How's that?
Tomorrow (Wed) should be at BH lunch if anyone wants to meet. I'll be hopping between parties Wed night including The Crystal Ball, FishNet and Rapid7.
How's that for a start? You can always tweet me as well.
Now all you social engineers can track me!!

I will meet dynamik for sure and we will try to find Don somewhere. It will be fun to finally put a face on a name!!

Same here. I'll probably arrive anywhere from 8-10pm tonight.
I just received a free upgrade from IAH to LAS, and I think a game of, "How much free booze can I drink in 2h15m?" is a foreboding way to start off the weekend...

We may have crossed paths... I was at two of three of those parties.

I ended up meeting dynamik, pseudo and Don from EH.net. It was nice to put a face on a name. Had good chats with them!!
And rance, I spent quite some time in the lock picking village. So we probably cross there... Oh well, next time I guess!

Who's all going to Def Con 20? I really want to attend a conference next year and it seems DEF CON is the one to go to. How did you guys like DEF CON this year?

DefCon 19 was my first, and it was AWESOME! I'll be at 20, and every one after that.
More talks than you can shake a stack trace at, and contests for whatever part of security you're interested in. The downfall? Too much to do. I went to a LOT of talks this year. While the majority of the talks were spectacular, they'll show up online eventually, or make their way to a different con (i plan to start attending more of these things, starting with Shmoo). Next year I plan to only attend a few talks, and really get more involved with the contests and challenges. It's much more social than sitting in talks, and it gives you a chance to flex your 1337 sk1llz in an unknown environment.
No matter what aspect of security you're in, there should be something for you: The DC19 contest/events list:
https://forum.defcon.org/forumdisplay.php?f=573
I need to put together a few teams for next year. On my onw, I'll be doing Gringo Warrior and the beard competition, but need a team for oCTF, and Hacker Jeopardy. The SE-CTF would be fun too, going to have to see how time pans out.
Anyway, see you at XX!
