I'm interested in finding out in what form people use Backtrack the most (VM? LiveCD? Dual boot?).  I'd appreciate your feedback by taking a quick two question survey.  Thanks in advance!

my answer's don't fit your survey format.

I use more than one method evenly. and I use multiple backtrack versions.

To clarify, my ditto was to chrisj's response, not to the question.   Tongue

When I'm using backtrack, it's generally off of my thumbdrive.  I have a little netbook running ubuntu that I've stripped down and compiled a number of the tools off, but for backtrack itself, I use a thumbdrive and it works fine for me.

Multiple:
VM in each ESX lab
VM in player on 'Main' Windows machine
HDD install on netbook
Persistent USB for portability/emergencies.
LiveCD for 'trusted' incident response activities

All fairly heavily modified from 'Live' release to meet my needs and preferences.
