Obtaining a CHFI exam voucher?

How is it done if you are a self-study individual?
Do you simply purchase one from the website?
Are there any requirements or prerequisites for purchasing this voucher?
Do you need a separate voucher for each EC Council exam?

You need a voucher for each exam you'd like to take. You can buy them through EC-Council's store.
From the official CHFI brochure:

Prerequisites
It is strongly recommended that you attend the CEH class before enrolling into CHFI program.

So it's a recommendation but not a requirement.

Thanks for the timely response!

Had you done it this way yourself? I just saw a lot of mixed reviews on this topic.

Some said something to the effect that we have to purchase the courseware from the EC Council at the same time as the voucher (close to 800.00 total with voucher).

Is this accurate? Or can I just purchase a single voucher for the CHFI exam specifically, without purchasing anything else.

I haven't taken CHFI yet, but will probably go for it within the next few weeks. If I'm not wrong, you can buy the voucher without the official courseware.

It is not a requirement to purchase the courseware or take a course. You can complete the certification by any method of self-study you choose and then purchasing the voucher.
