Router Hacking Video Series
«
on:
October 12, 2010, 11:07:00 PM »
Hello All,
In this video series, we go step by step on how to break into routers using various misconfigurations and vulnerabilities to our advantage. I am planning a separate series for other network devices also - firewalls, IDS etc. included.
1. Router Hacking Part 1 (The Basics)
http://bit.ly/KvXsJ
2. Router Hacking Part 2 (Service Enumeration, Fingerprinting and Default Accounts)
http://bit.ly/ALWGq
3. Router Hacking Part 3 (Bruteforcing and Dictionary Attacks with Hydra)
http://bit.ly/fPuA5
4. Router Hacking Part 4 (SNMP Attacks using SNMPCheck)
http://bit.ly/2Hqsl
5. Router Hacking Part 5 (SNMP Attacks using SNMPEnum)
http://bit.ly/J7QwR
6. Router Hacking Part 6 (Dictionary Attack using Metasploit on SNMP)
http://bit.ly/2ZrYmc
Look forward to your feedback!

hehe
That would be funny.
But I don't think I will stop
I plan to go full time into video creation very soon. Somehow seeing people use your videos and finding them useful, gives me a sense of fulfillment which I don't think money can buy
let me know your feedback once you see the videos.

Hi All,
I am new to this Forum, I signed up today. I have been going through this forum for quite sometime now & I must say this is a great place to find a lot of info related to Security.
I've seen the Videos posted & its very informative & easy to understand & try out as well, thanks much for the effort in making the videos
I however had a problem with Metasploit, I have Backtrack 4 not R1, I made the Setup of WinXP as the testing OS with no patches installed & other stuff given in the tutorial at Offensive Security. I have not been able to start Metasploit on BT 4, it gives an error currently I don't have the error message but I am about to setup the WinXP in VMWare again as it crashed. I'll be able to post the error message in few hours here if its alright.

Definitely a face-palm moment ... I usually keep a close eye on Vivek's site (as well as this forum) but I missed this series completely!

Man, I wonder what your business model is!!! I understand you feel good about it, but unless you are already rich, doing these videos full time instead of working?!?
But hey, I won't complain!!
Again, outstanding job Vivek!

Vivek, awesome job yet again.
I've been enjoying your MetaSploit series till now (haven't had time to watch them all unfortunately), and I'm sure these will be extremely useful as well.
You're a personal education hero of mine! ^^

Hello Vivek,
You are doing an excellent work. Right now I am watching the Assembly Primer for Hackers video series of yours. I'm still at part III but I can say that it is hard for an assembly video series to get better than this.
I'll definitely check your Router series as soon as I am over with Assebly. Thank you for your work.
