Here's one for our oversees readers. EC-Council will be holding their H@cker Halted 2006 Annual Conference in China at the China Marriott Hotel Guangzhou, Crystal Ballroom.

Quote
H@cker Halted 2006 China
Nov 14 - 15 2006
Nov 16 2006 (Business Networking Session)

The Conference will raise awareness on national and enterprise issues, discuss security policies and best practices, deliberate case studies and highlight information security as an on-going concern.

World experts have been invited as guest speakers to share their knowledge in their area of expertise. They include Erik Laykin, James Aquilina and Larry Detar who are experts in their respective fields of forensics, cyber law and ethical hacking.

Workshops will also be conducted to demonstrate ‘live’ the tools and technologies in use in the IT field today.

As always, post your thoughts.

From our stats and from the growing IT Security Community in the East, I know we get a number of readers from China. Anyone attending this event put on by EC-Council? Please share your thoughts and experiences as others try to decide how to spend their valuable time.

Thanks,
Don
