Looking for help on a project
«
on:
June 27, 2010, 09:12:06 AM »
I'm starting a fairly (ok, enormously) ambitious project, and am reaching out for others in the community to help out. I have to say up-front that there's a need for a lot of material related to hacking, so I'm looking for people that
really
want to contribute - not just check out what's happening. Although I don't want to get into too much detail, here are some key words that provide some idea of what I'm talking about:
hacking
open source
creative commons
web site
education
big... no, scratch that. Really big
I'm also looking for people who want to be leads as well - also, any work done will be fully attributed, but released as creative commons. If interested in helping out, drop me a line at twilhelm [at] heorot [dot] net or in a private message here.
Sorry to be so cryptic, but I don't want to announce anything yet, until it's really worth mentioning. Looking forward to hearing from you.

I'd love to help, but feel I still lack real skills at this point. So the best I can do is wish you luck.
Good Luck, I look forward to hearing about it when you're ready to go live.

I am very busy until September, but I could make myself available after the summer.
Since it is "Really big", I guess you will have work for a 'really long time'. Isn't?

I received quite a few responses from people willing to help; however, I undoubtedly left some people hanging about the next step (I suck at keeping track of emails, sometimes). If you contacted me, and I didn't get back to you, or give you the link to find out more info, can you send me another email/PM?
Thanks!
