Hey All,

I've been asked by numerous people to offer up some swag to not only help the site with small donations (and believe me reselling swag doesn't make millions Cry ) and to help promote what we do here. I setup a quick little store through Cafe Press. I've also looked at a couple others. Still deciding which one to choose, but had this as a sample:

http://www.cafepress.com/EthicalHackingSwag

Let me know what you think of the name, URL, and the first couple (and very simple) designs.

Although a test, it is a live site. So if you just have to have it now, go for it.

Thanks to all who continue to support our efforts. The products we design will also speak to the professionals that we are and the legitimacy of our industry, and hopefully in a fun way.

Looking forward to your feedback,
Don

I like the store. I also like the slogan on the shirt. My only criticism is that the slogan may make people think EH is a job board.

Very nice!   Should we start a thread and possibly some votes for additional slogans?

(edited because I can't spell)

I suck at marketing. I know this. However, here are some of the things I came up with at Midnight. Yes some of these are meant to be bad. Most are meant to have the domain name on the bottom of the slogan (or maybe the back):

Hackers hired to protect you.

pen-testing more than running <insert product here>

Because the E in front of Hacker doesn't mean Evil

I'm not creative enough to come up with catchy slogans, but what I do know is that this thread should be hidden from public view-- Gregory Evans might see it he has an online store too Wink j/k

I like the ones that embody the spirit/purpose of EH, such as "Pwning for good" and "Have you tested your security today?"

Witty one-liners like "And God said, \"nc -L -p 7777 -e /bin/sh\" and there was root" (which was awesome) don't really convey an actual message. That may not be the goal though; that's just my two cents. It just seems like there are plenty of other stores, such as Think Geek and Jinx that already have a lot of things like that.

As far as the designs go, I think it would be more aesthetically pleasing to put the URL on the back (not sure if that's possible there). The current designs look a bit cluttered on the front. Alternate colors (white text instead of navy) would also be nice for the darker shirts.

Of course. I often get great suggestions from the community and listen to many of them. Please pardon me as many behind-the-scenes 'projects' are taking up my time.

All good though,
