Online Storage?

Hey guys, do any of you use online storage? I was thinking about it for sharing files etc. I have been doing a little research on sites on price per space etc. Do you guys feel it's safe have data floating around the net?

For personal use? I don't think so. I'm not a fan. I looked into things like drop box and the like.

The Data Center work uses, has about 4 tb of space from them via NFS. They lock things down via the export file, but I can see all the other users on that device.

For files, I mostly just rely on either my 8gig USB key (Micro Center is fairly cheap and has worked well), or being able to scp / sftp data from my boxes at home.

I use dropbox, it 2GB free, and it also has clients for some smartphones. It does allow you to share stuff. there are others like box.net. one of my friend uses http://www.adrive.com/ i don't know much about that.
